The NSA Youth Day program is a one day event which brings together children and teens who stutter, their parents, and speech-language pathologists.
Many of the young people who attend have never met another person who stutters. Likewise, their parents have never met other parents of children who stutter. The Youth Day provides the opportunity to families to come together to share experiences, exchange ideas, and find community and support among other people who are also helping a child deal with stuttering.
Affiliated with local schools, clinics and universities, these workshops create a powerful positive expereince for children and parents alike to realize that they are not alone.
